The Jacques are brothers and founding members Finn & Elliot O’Brien and long-standing multi-instrumentalist Harry Thomas. Their debut album, The Four Five Three, was released in November 2020 and earned glowing critical acclaim. Singer Finn’s charismatic lyricism and unique vocal style, coupled with an avant-garde approach to the guitar and synthesiser and raucous live drums create The Jacques’ unmistakable sound; undeniable is the claim that this band has a distinctive sonic identity. The band have focused on EU territories in previous years with a particular focus on France, and have performed at Transmusicale, Reeperbahn, Eurosonic, London Calling, Rock En Seine. Other past shows include Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, CMJ in New York, SXSWand a sold-out headline at NYC’s Mercury Lounge. The raucous genre-defying secondalbum, Make Repetition! will be released on 5th September 2025.
