Stu started working in the ‘Pits’ 16 years ago at Reading Festival as a steward and progressed to become a supervisor, for over 15 different festivals across the country. As a pit supervisor he has stopped four shows for reasons ranging from dangerous climbing by the artist, a stage incursion by the crowd, climbing by the crowd and a health & safety for egress of the ticket holders due to hot weather.
Since starting the role as Showstop Co-Ordinator this summer, he has been working at festivals including: The Isle of Wight, State Fayre, Finsbury Park, Wilderness, Crystal Palace Bowl, Reading and BBC 2 Party In the Park.
