Born in 1975 and raised in Interlaken, Switzerland, Dany grew up in a family-run hotel, where he developed an early sense of hospitality and a lasting appreciation for bringing people and cultures together. He discovered a deep passion for live music at a young age, strongly influenced by the hip-hop movement. As a teenager, he began organizing local dance battles and concerts in his hometown.

He started his professional career at the legendary Gstaad Palace before graduating from the École Hôtelière de Lausanne. During his studies, he continued organizing events and concerts to help finance his education. After several years working in the international hospitality industry across Morocco, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, he was drawn back to his passion for music and event management, joining Paléo in 2005, Switzerland’s biggest open-air music festival, welcoming more than 300,000 spectators annually.

Since 2009, he has been responsible for booking international talent while overseeing artistic production. Consistently sold out for almost three decades, Paléo will celebrate its 50th edition in 2027 and was honored with a major European Festival Award in 2026.

In 2022, Dany was promoted to Vice President of Paléo’s executive board, as well as of its affiliated company Opus One, the leading concert promoter in French-speaking Switzerland.

In parallel to his role at Paléo, Dany is actively involved in Switzerland’s cultural and live music ecosystem. He serves as a board member of the Swiss Music Promoters Association (SMPA) and sits on the boards of the internationally renowned concert venue KKL in Lucerne and the legendary Baloise Session in Basel.

Grounded and team-oriented, Dany remains driven by a long-standing passion for live music and event management, a passion he has carried from his earliest grassroots initiatives to the large-scale projects he helps shape today.
