Venue: The Camden Assembly

18:00 – 21:00: IFF Opening Party & ITB showcases

The first IFF showcases start on Tuesday night this year as International Talent Booking host the IFF Opening Party, and present four of their finest new signings, all available for the 2017 season. It’s where IFF kicks off proper and, with plenty of drinks on hand, is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues, as well as catch some great new music.It all takes place at the newly revamped Camden Assembly venue, just a stone’s throw from IFF’s other sites. Doors open at 6pm, and showcases start at 7:05pm.

Delegates attending the IFF Opening Party will also be able to collect their conference passes and beat the rush the following morning.

Fire up for Day 1 of IFF as festival insurance experts Integro lay on the coffees and juices…

10:00 – 11:00: The Therapy Session, pt. 2: Marital Difficulties
Expired deadlines, unanswered phone calls, and moving goalposts… sometimes getting the job done can be infuriating, but why can’t we all just get along? The Therapy Session airs the top grievances on both sides as we ask how business could be conducted better. Read more.

11:30 – 12:30: Festival 2020: The Long View 
What will the festival business look like in 2020? Gazing into their crystal balls, a panel of industry leaders and big thinkers discuss key trends and developments in the coming seasons. Read more.

11:30 – 12:30: Agent & Festival Roulette
Proving that the festival business is a gamble, four prominent agents and festival bookers will spin IFF’s Wheel of Fortune to select random questions to answer. Read more.

12:00 – 13:15: Complimentary Lunch
Not content with securing the online ticketing space worldwide, .Tickets will ensure all IFF delegates are suitably fed and watered for an afternoon of showcases by hosting the IFF lunch.

X-ray Touring presents four of their priority artists for the 2017 festival season.

Whether it’s a quick stop for a subsidised brew from Camden Town Brewery, or a mouth-watering complimentary Jack Daniels cocktail, catch up with other IFF delegates while enjoying a cheeky tipple…

16:00 – 17:45: United Talent Agency showcases
United Talent Agency presents four of their priority artists for the 2016 festival season.

The guys and girls at UTA take the stage for a dedicated 15-minute Q&A session. IFF festival delegates can meet the agents, introduce themselves and satisfy those burning questions…

LPO presents two of their newly signed and priority artists for the 2016 festival season.

Courtesy of one of Switzerland’s most established festivals, Rock Oz’Arènes, IFF delegates can enjoy a complimentary dinner served from The Kingstone Bar in Dingwalls. To wash things down, diners can enjoy a subsidized pint or make the most of a fully stocked pay bar.

20:00 – 20:15: Primary Talent International Q&A
After a sumptuous dinner break, those good folk at Primary conduct a 15-minute Q&A before their showcase artists take the stage.

Just before their artists take the stage, it’s the turn of the CAA team to conduct a short Q&A with all IFF delegates. 

20:15 – 22:00: Creative Artists Agency showcases
IFF’s final set of agency showcases will bring four future festival headliners to the Dingwalls’ stage as CAA builds the IFF showcase schedule to a grand finale.

22:00 – late: The IFF Closing Party
Head up to the Delegate’s Bar as we turn up the electro swing tunes with IFF influencer and Island Records-signed DJ Tofu manning the decks. Fresh from running Glastonbury’s Shangri La and numerous other festival stages, DJ Tofu is unequaled for good party vibes, and we’ll be working our way through what’s left of the subsidized bar until the early hours…
